It’s been seven years since Jake Gyllenhaal dated pop beauty Taylor Swift, but that hasn’t stopped people from trying to get the gossip.
The 36-year-old Hollywood actor, who stars in a new film about the Boston marathon bombing, sat down with survivor Jeff Bauman for a Facebook Live session.
And mid-interview even Jeff couldn’t resist grilling him about his famous ex-girlfriend when he asked if he thought Taylor would pen a song about him if he lost his legs.
“If you lost your legs in real life, do you think Taylor Swift would write a song about it?” Jeff asked.
To which Jake – who has always been notoriously cagey about answering Taylor related questions – replied: “For me, or about it?”
Jeff went on: “For you – like a country song.”
Without completely ignoring the question, Jake joked: “She sort of moved into pop now.”
The pair dated for three months in late 2010. Taylor’s track All Too Well is rumoured to be about the Hollywood star, with her singing about a scarf “at your sister’s house / And you still got it in your drawer even now.”
Jake’s sister Maggie was recently asked about the scarf line when she appeared on Watch What Happens with Andy Cohen, but she disappointed fans when she admitted she was totally in the dark about it.
“I never understood everybody asked me about this scarf? What is this? I am in the dark about the scarf. It’s totally possible. I have been asked this before!”
