Kate Middleton, 35, who is currently pregnant with her third child, was spotted on her own enjoying a low-key outing in London, although it is not certain where the Duchess was heading.

There was also no sign of her baby bump as she gripped tightly to her coat to protect herself from the cold, wet weather.

The Duchess is a fan of designer outfits, and often recycles looks she has worn in the past.

But on this occasion, Kate opted for a mixture of designer and high street to create her off-duty look.

She wrapped up warm in a grey check coat from Zara, priced at £99.99 and slipped into a pair of dark blue skinny jeans, a light grey turtle neck jumper and a pair of black ankle boots.

But she combined her high street fashion pieces with a Mulberry bag.

Her famous bouncy brunette locks were tied into a low ponytail at the nape of her neck and she wore minimal make-up to complete the look.

While Kate was out and about in London today, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were enjoying their first royal engagement together in Nottingham.

The couple headed to a World Aids Day charity fair hosted by the Terrence Higgins Trust.

After the charity fair they met head teachers at a nearby school.

The couple, who got engaged on Monday and are due to marry next May, matched in navy coats for the outing

Meghan also carried a structured leather handbag by her side which was from Strathberry, made form Spanish leather and priced at £455.

Covering every inch of skin against the bitter December winds, Meghan opted for suede slouchy back boots and a light camel sit made from thick, ruffled material.

Body language expert Judi James analysed the couple’s body language today and drew the conclusion Meghan will be a successful royal

She said: “Meghan showed she was already deeply tuned into Diana’s memory during the engagement interview and her approach to the crowds on her first engagement showed she’s keen to inherit some of Diana’s legacy in terms of rapport with the public.

“In many ways she doesn’t need to because Harry has inherited enough empathy signals for both of them but Meghan’s way of getting close up to the crowds and chatting in a style that looks even-handed and natural compliments Harry’s jokey, fun approach.”
