Khloe Kardashian has revealed ex Lamar Odom was the driving force behind the former pair’s E! spin-off show ‘Khloe and Lamar’.
The reality star has admitted she never wanted to do the show, which first aired in April 2011, but wanted her ex-husband to be happy so went along with it.
Khloe, who has now moved on with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, also admits she was the one to pull the plug on the show.
Speaking to the Hollywood Reporter, Khloe shared: “I never wanted to do Khloe & Lamar; my ex-husband did.
“He has his career, but he really fought for it. I said, ‘You have to go into E! and promise them that you have the time.’ He sold it, and I let it happen because I wanted him to be happy, but I was the one who canceled it. It was way too much.”
A second season of the show aired in February 2012 but once the series was over Khloe announced that the show was on hiatus while she moved to Dallas with Lamar when he was traded by his former team, the LA Lakers.
But their time in Dallas only lasted four short months. Khloe filed for divorce the following year.
Elsewhere in the tell-all interview, Kim opens up about her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.
The mum-of-two admits she had anxiety before the big day, but put it down to cold feet.
However, even the producers told her that she didn’t seem happy and said she didn’t have to go through with it.
“The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, “This isn’t it for you. Why don’t you go away and I’ll handle it?” Kim said.
