Ryan Phillippe has denied assaulting his ex-girlfriend Elsie Hewitt who is suing him for more than $1million in damages.
The Playboy model, 21, has filed a lawsuit against the actor, alleging he badly beat her and that he also abuses drugs including cocaine, ecstasy, mushrooms and steroids, according to TMZ.
“Phillippe increasingly combined these drugs with excessive alcohol consumption and often exhibited symptoms attendant of poly drug and alcohol abuse, including mood swings and bouts of anger,” states the lawsuit.
The 21-year-old, who started dating the 43-year-old actor in April, claims he became “infatuated” with her.
On July 4, Elsie alleges they got into a fight after she went to pick things up from his house.
When she got there, the model alleges he was drunk and as she tried to talk to him he threw her down a staircase.
According to the suit, as she tried to climb back up the stairs he picked her up “like a doll” and threw her down the stairs again.
He then yelled: “Get the f**k out of my house you crazy c**t.”
The model included a number of photos of her bruised body in the lawsuit.
Straight after the alleged assault she went to the hospital and got a temporary Emergency Protective Order against him.
However, sources close to the Hollywood actor have painted a different side of the story.
They say that Elsie showed up to Ryan’s house uninvited and under the influence a few days after he had broken up with her.
They claim she physically attacked Ryan and refused to leave his home. As she was ejected from the premises they claim she fell and injured herself.
Sources say the police rejected her claims and the temporary order was terminated only after a few days.
They also accuse her of seeking fame by sending out glamour shots of herself to media.
