The reason why Kylie Jenner has decided to stay out of the spotlight since her uncomfirmed pregnancy news was announced has been revealed.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has hardly been since in public since the summer, leaving her fans guessing about her rumoured impending motherhood.
While sources in the US claim she’s “happy” to be expecting, they add that she wants to keep her pregnancy private after having so much of her life played out in the spotlight.
“She’s very happy about the pregnancy but she doesn’t want to share this with the world,” an insider told Us Weekly.
“Her not being out is strictly personal preference. She wants to keep this one aspect of her life private.”
The insider adds that after more than 10 years having her life broadcast to millions, she just wants to keep this special time to herself.
They went on: “She spent her adolescent life on television and has been famous for over 10 years now. If this is the first thing she wants to keep to herself, she should be allowed that.
“She’s worked hard enough to do whatever she wants.
“If you knew Kylie she can be very stubborn. When she makes her decisions, she sticks by them. This is a decision she made early on in her pregnancy and she’s sticking by it.”
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that Kylie’s baby daddy Travis Scott has dumped the make-up entrepreneur.
It’s thought the relationship was over just days after they were photographed together at Kris Jenner’s Christmas Eve party.
“Kylie really thought her future was with Travis and the baby, so the split came as a huge surprise,” a source told Heat .
“She’s going through a very dark time with her mood swings and changing body shape, plus her romance is in ruins, so she’s decided she needs a change and has always loved New York.”
The source added that Kylie was unhappy because of how “uninvolved Travis has been” in her pregnancy.
The 20-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has been linked to 25-year-old Travis since April 2017.
Rumours began to swirl five months later that the couple were already five months pregnant with their first child.
However, despite months of speculation, no one has confirmed if the reality star and rap hunk are really expected to be parents.
And it would seem Travis is happy to keep the rumour mill spinning.
“They’re just guesses. Let them keep fishing,” Travis told Billboard magazine recently.
The rapper also played dumb when asked by the music magazine if he had asked his own father for tips on fatherhood, replying with: “Uh… for what?”
